Glan Gors Holiday Park, Indoor Leisure Complex

Glan Gors has 112 privately owned holiday homes and the old existing outdoor pool was little used during the 10 month season.  The new 12m x 6m pool, with integral children's splash pool, fitness suite, and sauna now makes the lifestyle package for owners much more attractive and sales of holiday homes on the park have also been increased as a result.

Completed in timber frame with glulam laminated trusses which span the swimming pool and reception areas.  The external walls are finished in white render and the roof is finished with a simulated lightweight slate covering to match local building styles.

High levels of insulation and the ability of the timber frame to absorb heat during the day and radiate it back at night, minimise energy costs and maintain a comfortable climate within the building.

Large glazed areas at each end of the pool make maximum use of natural light and lead out on to an attractive deck area to the front of the building.
