Gimblet Rock Holiday Park Leisure Complex

Gimblet Rock Holiday Park is situated on the Llyn peninsular in North Wales, in a stunning coastal location and is owned and managed by the residential and holiday home specialist, Haulfryn Group. The new complex provides a 12m x 6m indoor swimming pool with integral children’s splash pool, a viewing area, a fitness suite, games room, changing rooms and reception. The bar and refreshment area have fully glazed walls to take advantage of views over Cardigan Bay.

The low level, square building is of timber framed construction, finished externally with block and render. It has a pyramid-shaped concrete tiled roof with feature rooflight. Internally the high vaulted ceiling gives a light, airy feel to the communal areas.

Significant time and cost savings were made possible by using offsite production of the timber framed structure at Pinelog’s specially equipped factory in Derbyshire.
