Pinelog lodges are built to exceed British Standard 3632:2015. This is the British Standard for Residential Park Homes. As such they are suitable for year round occupation.
If your lodge is sited on a holiday park, then the length of time you can ‘live’ in it will depend on the park licence. You should check this point carefully with the park owner
Yes, of course. Because we only build to order we can accommodate most requests. As well as being able to customise floorplans we can also offer choices for kitchens and bathrooms, flooring, soft furnishings etc.
Yes. Pinelog’s buildings are not exclusively designed and built using glulam timber. A Pinelog building can use a multitude of materials, including brick, concrete, metal and glass. In fact, any building material.
Pinelog lodges are extremely robust and many have been relocated over the years. We advise you to either contact Pinelog or to use a specialist company to make sure this is done safely and professionally.
Yes. Pinelog lodges are heavy and they should always be sited on appropriately prepared foundations. We generally recommend either a concrete raft or strip footings. We will supply drawings once an order has been placed so that you can engage a local contractor.
Yes. We are so confident in the quality of our buildings that we offer a comprehensive manufacturer’s 10-year structural warranty on all lodges. Certain terms and conditions apply. Ask us if you’d like more information.
